Why Did I Create This Course?

I'm glad you asked.

I came from a place of struggling with my body image and relationship with food.

Pregnancy, and particularly postpartum, threw me off course completely.

I didn't recognise my body. I missed the 'old' me. I didn't realise how it would change. I turned to food for comfort.

 

I was sleep-deprived, strung out and hated my postpartum belly. My ability to control what I ate went out the window.

And I felt like nobody had told me about this.

After more than 3 years of research, I put together this course.

To help new mothers, mothers to be and those who work with mothers better understand what can be a challenging and vulnerable period.

By learning about how body image works, what influences it, how you can push back against harmful messaging, how eating behaviour works and how you can manage your difficult thoughts differently, you'll be able to navigate motherhood from a place of control and confidence.
